I recently finished my postdoc on the pre-clinical drug discovery field against diabetic retinopathy (DR) at the Lab for Retinal Cell Biology (LRCB), Department of Ophthalmology, University Hospital of Zurich (USZ).

Currently, I am part of Nucleate, a non-profit organization that supports the development of young bio entrepreneurs in their early career stages.

I am originally from Greece, and I came to Switzerland six years ago to pursue my doctoral studies in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Inselspital in Bern. I recently joined the 500WS Zurich coordination team to encourage more women to fight for equal career opportunities in academia.
