I am a materials scientist and electrochemist who fell in love with corrosion science during my master's studies in France. And it took me on a career path around the world.

My current professional activities at OST – Eastern Switzerland university of applied sciences focus on how and why engineered materials corrode. I study how the structure and surface of light metals affect their reactivity and stability, with the goal of developing more sustainable electrochemical surface treatment processes.

Beyond my research, I am committed to community engagement and science communication. I serve as Chair of the Young European Federation of Corrosion (YEFC) that supports and empowers early-career corrosionists.

I joined the 500WS Zurich Pod and its coordination team in 2025 to help reshape science to be more just, inclusive, and impactful.
