I am a materials scientist and electrochemist who fell in love with corrosion science during my master's studies in France. And it took me on a career path around the world.

My current professional activities at OST – Eastern Switzerland university of applied sciences focus on how and why engineered materials corrode. I study how the structure and surface of light metals affect their reactivity and stability, with the goal of developing more sustainable electrochemical surface treatment processes.
Beyond my research, I am committed to community engagement and science communication. I lead scientific working groups, I am involved in the EDI task force of the European Federation of Corrosion (EFC) and serve as immediate past Chair of the Young European Federation of Corrosion (YEFC) that supports and empowers early-career corrosionists.

I joined the 500WS Zurich Pod and its coordination team in 2025 to help reshape science to be more just, inclusive, and impactful.
